This Spring Place Value activity it perfect for Kindergarten, 1st Grade and 2nd Grade students who are learning about tens and ones. Students look at the number at the top of each Spring themed mat then use either cubes or base ten materials to build that number showing the tens and ones. There are 50 mats included in this place value resource. This resource comes in a full color version as well as black & white.

How to use Spring Place Value Mats

 

Print out either the color or black and white versions of these place value activity mats. There are two mats per page. Cut each page in half.

 

This Place Value resource can be used with smaller groups or as a Math Center.

You can either laminate them or place them in a sheet protector/dry erase pocket to use meaning they can bet used over and over again! 

 

Pupils read the number at the top of the mat and can use a range of materials including base ten materials, unifix cubes or even loose parts to build the number showing the tens and ones. 

 

This Place Value activity can also be set up within your Maths area in your classroom if your students are ready to explore Place Value independently.
