This sentence building activity is perfect for Kindergarten, 1st Grade and 2nd Grade students who are learning to write sentences. This roll and write a sentence activity asks students to build a sentence using the sentence building mats and encourages them to think about how to write sentences using correct grammar. Students can roll dice to choose different parts of their sentence - who, what and where.
 
How this activity works
 
Your student will be aiming to choose 3 different parts to their sentence. Your student then rolls a dice either 3 to choose the who, what and where parts of their sentence. Your student can then write and draw their sentences.
